WOMENS RUGBY
Box Hill Rugby Union Football Club are proud to be at the forefront of womens rugby being the home of the Box Hill Fillies, Victoria’s most successful women’s rugby team.
The Fillies began in 1997 and have a rich history of success with premierships in 2001, 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011.
In recent years the Fillies have combined with Harlequins girls rugby and are known as the Raiders. This partnership has meant a diverse group have got together with a great mix of backgrounds be it new to rugby or home grown international or state representatives.
The Fillies have always had successful players with Australian Wallaroos Melissa Latu and Anita Carlin, and in 2018 with the inaugural Super W tournament Anna Milne and Mikaela Welti representing the Melbourne Rebels.
The Fillies are always on the lookout for new players and support, so if you are an experienced player or new to the game please contact us.
